Created
as a fundraising program to benefit a broad range of local non-profits
and service organizations, the Old Chicago Pizza Palz program is an easy way to raise money
for your local non profit or school group.
Pizza Palz are gift certificates available for sale at Old Chicago Restaurants.
Various organizations purchase the Pizza Palz from Old Chicago
Restaurants for $6 and sell them as a fundraiser for $11. The purchasers
can then redeem the Pizza Palz gift certificate at Old Chicago Restaurants
for a large pizza (maximum value of $22). Minimum purchase is 100 certificates.

C.A.R.E. Events are community based fundraisers, drives and volunteer events
that help our teammates do good locally.
Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc. teammates love to volunteer! We are constantly looking to find ways to
support our communities. If you are an organization
with volunteer opportunities available, please contact your local restaurant
and ask to speak with the Foundation Delegate to
explore this opportunity!

C.A.R.E. Event examples have included pizza parties
for kids in a low income neighborhood, painting a room in a shelter
and hosting a food or clothing drive in the restaurant. Foundation delegates
are able to apply for funding from the Foundation to support work in the area of hunger.
In a tribute to firefighting heroes across the country, Rock Bottom
Restaurant & Brewery holds an annual Fire Chief Ale Promotion to
raise funds for local fire departments and fire related charities in
each Rock Bottom community. Through this collaborative effort amongst
our restaurants we have created funding for Fire Departments, related
charities and other worthwhile organizations within our communities.
The promotion runs nationwide from March to April at Rock Bottom’s
and the Walnut Brewery in Boulder, Colorado. A final check presentation
to the local fire department or related charity wraps up the promotion
in each community.
Fire Chief Ale is one of the specialty beers brewed
throughout the year by Rock Bottom Brewmasters. This ale is uniquely
handcrafted in each region and is a full-bodied amber that is similar
in style to a British bitter with a dry, mildly hopped finish. The three-week
promotion includes special events such as chili cook-offs and bachelor
auctions in the restaurants.
